Counterflow, Inc.

Counterflow, Inc. was incorporated in 1993 as a manufacturer of Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels and Moisture Separators. Early development included ASME accreditation with pressure vessel design and fabrication to Section VIII Division 1. The packaging of rotary equipment, including air compressors, began in 1995 but soon created new space consideration.

Our new fabrication shop was specifically designed with packaging in mind and was completed for occupation in 2002. We can design and manufacture complete process packages for air and gas compression together with treatment, pumping, cooling and lubrication systems.

We are pleased to work with engineering and procurement companies, turnkey operators and end users to supply equipment built to specifications. Our Edinboro, Pennsylvania production facility is located just one mile west of Junction 166 on Interstate 79. It features 20 ton and 5 ton overhead cranes in the main bay, with 20 feet lift, where packages or fabrications up to 40 feet in length and 13 feet wide can be handled. Our 10,000 psi hydro-test equipment insures that the 5000 psi vessels and pipework required for Compressed Natural Gas packages can easily be tested.
